  1. Using a desktop computer, download the file name “HEEFS Barnside Chat” by first clicking on the iOS logo above.

  2. When prompted, save the file to your “Downloads” or other file folder of your choice.

  3. Open iTunes in one window on your desktop computer, and open your downloads folder window in another window.

  4. Locate the ringtone file you just downloaded to your downloads (or other) file folder.  Click and drag the file on to your iTunes window and drop the ringtone file into the “TONES” folder located part way down on the left side of the iTunes window.

  5. Plug your iPhone into your computer using the sync cable.

  6. Insure the settings of your iTunes will sync the tones folder to your telephone.

  7. Allow sync to complete.

  8. Unplug your telephone.

  9. Go into the settings folder of your telephone and click on sounds.

  10. Select the “HEEFS Barnside Chat” adjust volume and exit.

You have just installed the iOS ringtone! Tada!

Newer versions of the iPhone have a different process. You can find information here on how to change your ringtone.

Please note: There is no technical support for the ringtones section of HEEFS. If you are having trouble, please ask a technically savvy friend to lead you through the process.

 

  1. Download the Android version of the ringtone directly to your telephone just like you would a song by clicking on the “Android” logo above.

  2. Once the download is complete, go to your telephones settings and change your ringtone to a song.

  3. Select the ‘HEEFS Barnside Chat’  from your playlist of songs.

  4. Set the volume and enjoy.

The ringtones may download to your phone under a different name than “HEEFS Barnside Chat”---It may appear as a big long number string.  We are unsure how to get around this.  You can change the name of the track on your phone after it has downloaded.

You have just installed the Android ringtone! Tada!
