As the snow melts and the first buds of spring begin to emerge, we enter a time of change, renewal, and, yes, challenges. While spring is a time of hope and growth, it also presents a unique set of hurdles. Every season brings its own rhythm, but we still have a lot to learn about our new property!  

With spring approaching and daylight hours increasing, we’re seeing more of the hens begin to lay eggs. This natural increase in egg-laying activity is triggered by the longer days and greater sunlight exposure, which activate their reproductive hormones.
